I know there are other issues with this weapon, but this is all I can think of for now. Overall I'm glad that heavies finally had their HMG buff from the hotfix they got, but it's time to return the favor to shotgunners who received the cold shoulder for quite some time now. (coming from a scout shotgunner with Shotgun Op. V & Prof. III)
ALL this, AND you forgot a RoF increase to Breach Shotgun. I understand is more powerful than other variants, but they already get a gimped ''clip'' (2 shots) so no need for the Low a** RoF.

Very true, the breach is already a skill intensive weapon but with too many drawbacks like low RoF, 2 shots per clip, and slow reload, hence the reason why it's rare to see anyone using them in the battlefield.
Its my Favorite Shotgun TBQH. I loved shooting down 1 dude,then another, then changing to my SMG and anothr. XD But everything changed when the fire nation attacked... I mean when the hit detection problems raised and Med frames started reaching 900+ EHP....
(Having to shoot TWICE a med frame at 1 mt with a ADV BREACH SG + 2 Cx Damage mods to kill him is as UP as it gets...)
Actually, this conversation got me a little pumped. Today (yes my Dust 514 just got back,so i can play again) im running my Breach SG again... Be wary of those dark corners ppl....

The Breach shotgun never did make sense. It's got extremely extremely limited ammo capacity, more so than any other breach weapon. Then on top of that it has abysmal rof and reload speed. I think the limited ammo capacity was enough. It would be a nice weapon with a better rof.
I agree the Better RoF is needed. But its not that it DOESNT make sense. The Breach SG is supposed to be the type of weapon i like to use. Skill weapon with ridiculously high alpha damage but drawbacks (there by my love for the SCR RIFLE) The thing is, the VERY low RoF COMBINED with the High EHP values of Dust514 result in a VERY innefective weapon. Needing 100% of your bullets in the ''clip'' to kill a Med frame is something NO OTHER weapon does,except maybe. the AV oriented Plasma cannon.

Why grab a good Skill based weapon like Shotguns and Make them into EZ mode R1 Spammers? Remember BF3? Remember the USAS-12? Yeah....

Remember BF3? Remember the USAS-12? Yeah.... At 30m? If you had that? You DEAD. Why? OUTRANGED. Only good in CQC situations be it single shot or automatic.
Actually, the USAS - 12 with Frag Rounds had more range than pretty much anything. XD
I do agree thou am ''ASSAULT SHOTGUN'' could be an option! With HIGHER RoF (Around 500) but lower damage (Around 30). Low Clip count (Around 6) Still i wouldnt do it FULL auto....
If you want a Full auto CQ weapon,we have SMG's and SCR Pistols for that,and they are actually pretty powerful...
